DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
DAY 1
Arrive At Kilimanjaro International Airport
Arrive At Kilimanjaro International Airport and Ricktrackers & safaris representative will meet and drive you to Arusha for dinner and overnight
DAY 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephant numbering in hundreads , also has the largest concentration elephant and buffalo in East Africa.Tarangire River draws animals , include migratory herds of wildebeest and zebra during the dry summer months , making for excellent game viewing.
Activities
Drive from Arusha to Tarangire national park . On arrival you will be transferred to the accommodational mentioned in your itinerary for lunch. Enjoy an evening game drive in the park and then return back for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3
Tarangire National Park
Afer breakfast , You will head out into the bush on foot for a morning walking safari inside the park. The park is a bird watchers paradise with more than 500 birds species found here. You will stop in the shade for a picnic lunch before heading back to camp. Enjoy your last evening game , where you will come across Africa’s nocturnal animals.
DAY 4
Serengeti National Park
Your drive from Karatu to Serengeti will wind you through wide green hills and across flat low lands. The land stretches to the horizon in all directions , interrupted only by small dusty towns and earthly round Maasai house. Once you have crossed into Serengeti you will be on the game drive as you make your way towards camp.
The southern section of the park is covered with flat or gently rolling grassland and occasionally dotted with rock kopjes , home to good population of resident game . Big cats love to have a good vantage point and the copjes provide that. Massive herds of wildebeest call this southern section home when they are birthing before moving further north .The Serengeti is home to a variety of landscapes and what is around you will depend on where you are staying in the park.
DAY 5
Serengeti ( Southern Region)
Spend a full day explore the stunningly beautiful landscapes gives home to the Great Migration from Dec to April.
DAY 6
Serengeti ( Eastern Region)
Spend time explore the eastern plains explode with life in the green season Dec – May and encompass many prolific wildlife viewing areas including the world’s famous Gol Kopjes , which boost the highest concentration of cheetahs in Africa.
With a little patience, there is a good chance to witness the world;s fastest land animal sprinting across the plains in persuit of the fleet footed Thomson s gazelle.
DAY 7
Serengeti (Central/North)
Explore Seronera , one of the most famous attraction in Central Serengeti. Seronera valley support a much greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti , including elephant , impala , hippo , giraffe , topi , buffalo and baboons. This residents prey in turn attracts the highest concentration of large predators and a multitude of smaller predator.
WHILE North Serengeti gives home to the enormous migratory herds during the dry season July-Nov. The Northern Serengeti remains an unexplored wilderness packed with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The most captivating highlight of this area is undoubtedly the massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season.
However , the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of residence wildlife include antelope , crosodiles , hippo and gazelle .
DAY 8
Ngorongoro Crater
The 2000 ft high wall s of the approximately 10 miles wide Crater form a natural amphitheater for the densest population of wild animals anywhere. Enjoy the very early morning game drive with a picnic lunch. After lunch you will begin you jorney back to Arusha.
DAY 9
Fly To Zanzibar
One of the best places for a romantic escape is the island of Zanzibar , where you and your partner can decompress and reconnect on tropical white sands beaches. Coming here for a rest after the safari is the perfect way to unwind and round off your trip to Tanzania.
